Lodge of Attainment

History

The Lodge of Attainment was established as an offshoot of the Mandate Lodge in 1951. This new chapter in Masonic history began with the granting of the Warrant of Constitution on May 2, 1951. The Lodge was officially consecrated on September 24, 1951, marking the start of its journey.

The Lodge of Attainment draws upon a rich heritage, connected to several historic lodges:

  • **Lodge of Tranquility No. 185**: Warranted on December 20, 1787, and consecrated the same day, this lodge boasts a longstanding tradition of Masonic excellence.
  • **Samson Lodge No. 1668**: With its Warrant of Constitution dated February 20, 1877, and consecration on April 18, 1877, Samson Lodge has a significant place in Masonic history.
  • **Mandate Lodge No. 4258**: The direct precursor to the Lodge of Attainment, Mandate Lodge is our Mother Lodge – it received its Warrant on February 23, 1921, and was consecrated on June 9, 1921.

Thus, the Lodge of Attainment No. 7090 was born, carrying forward the legacies of these distinguished lodges while creating its own path in the annals of Freemasonry.
